CD cover Lleisiau Mynwy launch

Monmouth MP David Davies championed the idea of putting together a fundraisung CD featuring local schools and choirs in collaboration with Nimbus Records. The album includes tracks from King Henry V111 Comprehensive School in Abergavenny, Ysgol Gymraeg Y Fenni, The Singing Club, The Chepstow Chatelaines, Chepstow School Folk Group, Caldicot School, Caldicot Male Voice Choir, Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls, Monmouth Comprehensive School and Monmouth Male Voice Choir. Anthony Smith and his team at Nimbus have donated not only time in the recording studio, but have done a huge amount of work on editing and producing a high-quality album. A disc covering music from across the county and delivering a range of modern and traditional Welsh songs which will be very appealing. How fitting that there should be a permanent reminder of the rich vocal talent in Monmouthshire as we prepare to welcome the National Eisteddfod to this part of Wales after a long absence and a huge thanks to all who made it happen. We would really like to see the community support this great venture.
